McDONALD'S McBREAK: GIVE YOURSELF A MCBREAK
ROLE DESCRIPTION: Campaign Concepting, Art Direction.
OBJECTIVE: McBreak is McDonald's range of lower priced products. The hamburger, McNuggets, the cheeseburger etc. The brief was to come up with a new creative direction on the existing campaign line: Geef jezelf die McBreak.
IDEA: Having worked with and created my own cinemagraphs early on as a social content designer, I knew it would be the perfect execution and visual mechanism to bring this idea to life. Together with renowned photographer Arthur Mebius, we created a range of looping cinemagraphs where we see people momentarily on “pause” so that they can enjoy a McBreak, and sometimes, to escape their surroundings.
